Core Curriculum Review for Oncology Nursing Practice and the Certification Examination

Course Overview

Oncology nursing certification is the formal recognition of specialized knowledge, skills, and experience in oncology nursing. It is demonstrated by achieving standards identified by the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC®) to promote health outcomes. Certification assures the public a nurse has completed all eligibility criteria to earn this credential. It also promotes the development of oncology specialized nursing by establishing minimum competency standards and recognizing those who have met the standards. The content for this two day course is divided into sections that are consistent with the major categories for the Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN®) Test Blueprint and the Core Curriculum for Oncology Nursing (Fourth Edition).
